WE ARE BOTH BEGINNING
A Visual story by Olga Lynx

Seventeen and fifty - two. Two women.
Two beginnings.
She is seventeen. I am fifty-two.

She is discovering who she might become. I am discovering who
I can still be.

We belong to different generations. We listen to different music, see the world differently, and sometimes struggle to understand each other.

But neither of us has finished becoming herself.

We share our genes, our love, and a respect for each other’s freedom.

The rest is ours to choose.

She is seventeen.

I am fifty - two.

She doesn`t yet know

who she will become.

I already know

who I no longer want to be.

We see the world differently.

She believes her whole life

is still ahead of her.

And, unexpectedly,

so do I.

We don`t have to agree.

Love doesn`t require us

to make the same choices.

We share the same genes.

Not the same destiny.

We are both beginning...
